Plank Off

I guess no one ever told celebrities they were doing it wrong the entire time. 

Lately I've been hearing all about plank challenges. One legged planks, longest planks, side planks, etc. It's pretty good exercise, easy to do, and easy to modify. For all the benefits of planking, read here.

So my very first goal, and very last goal of the year, is to plank for two minutes everyday. I wanted to find something to strengthen my body, easy to do, non time consuming, and something I can drop down and do anywhere. No excuses. And with already 22 days into the new year, I have planked for a total of 44 minutes which is probably more than I have my entire life. The goal is to add a strength exercise every month, but still keeping it short and easy to do anywhere.

I encourage everyone to plank with me- or find a small time out of the day, everyday, to do something good for yourself. Never forget to surprise yourself.
